Effective 23 August 2026

Brains Together is a game. It keeps the little it needs to run matches and remember who you are, and nothing else.

Your account

You do not sign up. The first time you open the app it creates a guest account for you — a random identifier and nothing more. No email address, no name, no phone number.

If you choose to connect a Google account, Google tells us your name and email address, which we store against that same account. Connecting does not create a second account and nothing is copied between them.

What we store

Your profile: the name and the avatar you pick, or the ones assigned to you if you never do. These are shown to other players you meet or add as friends.

Your matches: which mode you played, when, who against, the scores, and the rating change. These are what the ladder and your match history are computed from.

Your friends: the players you have added, and the requests you have sent or received.

Your progress: how far you have reached in the campaign, the cards you have unlocked and upgraded, how your decks are arranged, and your coin balance.

What stays on your device

Your sound and vibration preferences are stored on your device only. They are never sent anywhere and we cannot read them.

Who else sees it

Accounts, profiles, matches and friends are held in a Supabase database, and matches are run by our game server hosted on Fly.io. Both act only on our instructions.

There is no advertising in the app, no analytics or tracking SDK of any kind, and no third party is sent your data for their own purposes. Nothing is sold.

We hand data to anyone else only where the law requires it.

Payments

Coins can be bought inside the app. The purchase itself is handled entirely by the App Store or Google Play — they take the payment and we never see your card, billing address or any other payment detail. All we are told is that a purchase succeeded, so that we can add the coins to your balance.

How long

Your account and profile last until you ask us to delete them. Match records last as long as the account does — a rating is only meaningful next to the matches that produced it.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from inside the app, in the account panel on the Home tab. It removes the account and everything held against it — your profile, matches, friends, progress and coins — and cannot be undone. This works for a guest account as well as a connected one.

If you would rather we did it, write to hello@brainstgt.com from the address on your account, or tell us the name you play under and roughly when you played, and we will find it and delete it.

Children

The app is not aimed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly keep data from them. If a child has an account, write to us and we will remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version ships with the next release of the app and the date above changes with it.
